The National LED Industry Development and Technology Seminar was held in Ma'anshan City

Academician Chen Lianghui gave a report at the meeting, "Also talking about the mission of the semiconductor lighting industry in the new decade - realizing lighting energy conservation and emission reduction is the top priority for semiconductor lighting in the next ten years." In the report, he reviewed the development history of the LED industry and its achievements and breakthroughs in the past ten years, and explained the importance of re-understanding lighting energy conservation. Academician Chen Lianghui believes that in the 15 years from 2006 to 2020, my country will establish a solid-state lighting industry, fully enter the general lighting market, occupy 30-50% of the market share, promote green lighting, achieve lighting power saving of more than 30%, annual lighting power saving of more than 100 billion kilowatt-hours, and create a "lighting and energy-saving Three Gorges Power Project." He emphasized that realizing lighting energy conservation and emission reduction will be the top priority of semiconductor lighting in the next ten years.
